Project 1: Self-Portrait
This art work is basically about my personality. There is two side of me, which is optimistic at the outside but inferior inside. Perhaps, in the eye of other's I am optimistic and cheerful, and I am, but most of the time when I'm alone I feel inferior. I choose coral, blue and yellow as the colour of me is because coral represent feminism, blue is clean and dependability, yellow is cheerful and friendly. The background colour is independence blue with my personality labels. Coming to the inside "me", I used grey tone to show the negative part of me, but at the same time I am softhearted. My self portrait is in a piece of paper, I want show that every individual were formed by a few pieces of personality.

Project 2: Sense of Place
This is the first place where I live by myself. This place is small but it carries a lot of my memories and emotions. I choose to portrait this little corner is because when I was in this corner I felt secure and warm the most. The use of purple is to show that the time at the midnight, and the fairy light in yellow represent hopes and dreams.

Project 3: Visual Analysis
This art work is about my dream, which is run a little red food truck in Central Park with my love, and also in my favourite season - Autumn. With the breeze, the sight of the fallen leaves and the smile on people’s faces.
The composition of this design is base on the golden ratio and it is in landscape format. There is a dustbin in the foreground at the right bottom corner and follow the pathway, there is a bench and the street lamp at the left side. Coming to the mid-ground, there is the main object - food truck in the middle of the canvas and there is a repetition of trees and building in the background. After that, you may notice there is some fallen leaves at the right top corner which is to show more liveliness. Overall, this design work gives a warm feeling and a sense of harmony in colour.

FINAL REFLECTION
In this module, I did learnt a lot about some essential things and elements of design, but it's not just about design principle. It's something about how to read the design work. After this module, I noticed that I will have my own opinion on several things, such as "Oh no, the colour used in this piece of work is not working." "The composition is a bit awkward." I gain more sense of design in this module.
The thing in this module that I have enjoyed the most would be learning those principles of design and the freedom in creating our work. I found that once you know and understand those principles, and you are able to apply it in your work, that will be way more different than without apply them.
The things that I'm quite struggling with would be how to start a new project. Every time when I had start a new project, I'll always feel like I'm running out of idea. Yes, we are free on we can do what we want for the project, but sometimes it's really feel like "I need some requirements that I have to achieve."
After this module, I found that my biggest problem is lack of creative (at least, that's what I think). And sometimes, when I have some ideas in my brain, but I couldn't express it by my hand. This module changed me into a more sense of design person, I think mostly is from the feedback given by Ms. JinChi. Not only from the feedback for me but also for my classmate. I learned that how Ms.JinChi see a work, how it could be better, I will think like "Oh yeah, why I never think of this!".
I think this module could have more specific requirements for the projects. Because sometimes I felt lost, I didn't know where to start and what should I do. And of course, I know that everything need to start from doing research, but how to decide what do we wanted to do.
But, overall, this learning journey is quite fun and meaningful for me, it is not just about the assignment.
