REFLECTION

Experience
This was a special learning journey for me as I never know that I can overcome all the task. Yes, of course I struggled a lot, I get confused and found out the answer. Even the assignments almost burn me out but overall I have to say this is a really FUN module. The part that I enjoyed the most was the exploring and experimenting. I love the freedom that we can put any idea while doing the typographic project. Before the classes, I wasn't a detailed person but after that I would say I become more observant than before.

Observations
Before learning and doing the given task, I never know that all the letters had different points in kerning, I never know that there is a thing call grey value which I used it quite often while doing assignments. After this module, I will start observing the things with typography around me. Sometimes I will think like "No, that is a big no no." "The leading is too small, it's not readable!" It's a bit funny but this module does changed me, not a lot, but it does.

Findings
After 14 weeks of learning from Mr.Vinod and Mr.Charles, I did learnt a lot about typography which I never know before the class. How a letter be formed, what's make a typeface a good typeface. I think that it's way more than just a design module. While dealing with it I have to pay more attention, be aware of a lot of tiny details. I never know that I can also become a detail person too, but after all the task we have I think noting is impossible.
