Week 7-10

Stationaries Design

Fig 2.1 Name Cards Design, 18/10/2

The second design has been chosen. Ms.Lilian suggested I change the pattern and create two name cards (business card and owner's name card).

Fig 2.3 Envelope Design, 18/10/22

The envelope design with the verticle folding style has been chosen. I moved the contact details to the back of the envelope.

Fig 2.6 Letter Head, Continuous Sheet & Back Design, 18/10/22

Ms.Lilian suggested adding the rounded shape element to the letterhead to be more consistent with other applications. I added the rounded elements and also apply green and orange. Due to the colour of the envelope, I decided to use orange as the back design to balance the colour.

To be more consistent, I applied the rounded element to the invoice (same as the letterhead). Besides, I changed the contact information format (same as the envelope).

Based on the feedback given by Ms.Lilian, I added the pattern at the back and moved the contact information to the back.

Environment Design

I changed the storefront visual to a wider view of the storefront. I also do a few signs to match the storefront. Besides, I also tried out the counter and some interior applications.

FEEDBACKS

Week 9

- The typesetting of word mark need to adjust

- The pattern needs to directly derive from the logo, but it can not add new components.

- Can adapt more orange to show the fun aspect of the brand.

- The contact information can be in the same alignment.

- Have two name cards (business & personal) with two different colours.

- May add the disclaimer on the loyalty card.

- Introduce the curves throughout all the stationaries.

- Patterns can be introduced to the cover of the room card too.

- The contact information should move to the back cover.

- Need to introduce orange in collaterals to deliver the fun value of the brand.

- Find the visuals that show a bigger picture of the storefront.

- The sign and interior are fine. Can have more interior applications if possible.

Week 10

- Try to use back the rounded square shape on the room card and the counter

- For the landing page, it will be good to use a photograph on the landing page.

- Suggestion to create a poster to promote the brand (if the time is allowed).

- Overall is good to go, everything is fine.

Fp for it. But for some of my designs which are unique shapes, the only choice for me is to create my own mock-up. I learned that doing research for mockups can also give me more ideas and inspire me in order to create my own.
