REFLECTION

This module is super challenging for me as I’m not good in English but this module requires some writing and critical thinking skills. But now, I think both my writing and critical thinking skills have improved. I think the reason that I can manage to finish this module on time is the heaviest part of DRD is the beginning part, which requires more reading and writing works. I’m so glad that we have done DRM before, it really gives a big help for our dissertation as it makes all the things and direction clearer. 


In comparison with my friends’ research topic, I felt like my topic is actually more common and easier to find information online. I never regret that I have chosen this topic for my DRM and DRD, instead, I’m quite enjoying it. Because I reckon that this topic is related to our daily life, and right now I become more observant and I will have my own opinion when looking at the brand and their visual branding. Once the dissertation has been completed, I was like “PHEWW! I'D SURVIVED!”. I become more excited because our following task is to design an e-book for our dissertation. It took me some time to figure out which kind of art direction I should go for because the design has to relate to our research topic. The progress of designing the e-book was quite enjoyable, but I have to admit that my creativity still has room to improve. But to be honest I was quite satisfied with my final outcome.


Finally, this semester has come to an end. Before taking this module, I strongly thought that this module will be killing me and much heavier than DRM. I thought that I couldn’t manage to finish it on time, but I was wrong. I’m so so so lucky to be Ms.Jinchi’s student. She is a super systematic teacher and always keeps us on the right track. The other thing I took from her is I’ve learned the importance of time management, and planning everything before we start working on it. I’m so grateful to be her student and thank you for always being patient with us!

We need to create 5 pages by using Adobe Animate. It need to include some micro animation as well. For this project, I decided to do an extension website for one of my project in other module, as it is also a promotional campaign. Week 13 - 16 1.
