Week1
Exercises - 28/3/22
1. Mints Editing
During our first class of this semester, we have a little in-class exercise using Adobe Premier Pro. We have to turn all the footage into a full video.

2. Doritos Editing
Secondly, we have to rearrange and turn all the footage (random order) into a full video.

Week2
Exercises - 4/4/22
1. Lalin Editing
This week were required to follow the "My name is Lalin" short movie's storyboard to arrange all the given footage and proceed them to a completed video. We learned about how to trim the footage and the basic structure of the storyboard.

Week3
Exercises - 11/4/22
1. 3 Act Structure: Burrow, Guang, Lalin & Munich
Extra description for Munich:
  • Story outline
  • Describe the main character
  • What is the character's goal?
  • What are the obstacles that he faced?

2. Music video shooting
We were required to shoot a 30 secs music video with two peers and includes the shots below.
  • Wide shot - high angle (solo)
  • 3 single full body shots - eye level ( 2 teammates at each side)
  • Medium shot - eye level (solo)
  • Medium Close-up shot - eye level (solo)
  • Close-up shot -eye level (solo)
  • Extreme Close-up Shot -eye level (solo)
  • Wide Shot - low angle (solo)

Due to the lack of planning and limited time, we have some missing shots in the final video. Me and my teammates are focused too much on the dance practice itself.

Week5
Exercises - 25/4/22
1. Shooting Practice
This week, we. were required to go to campus and do a shooting practice with Mr. Martin. At first, I was assigned to the lighting crew, but after that, I also experienced the role of the cameraman.

Week6
Exercises - 03/5/22
1. Video Editing (Shooting Practice)
Last week me and my classmate had done the shooting part in campus, so this week we were required to edit the footage and sync it with sound.

There is one video that I didn't sync with the audio because the original sound in the video is clearer than the sound record.

Week8
Exercises - 17/5/22
1. Video Editing (Ake Demo Reshoot)
This week is our independent learning week, we have to trim the provided video to 30 seconds sharp by using ripple edit tool.

I tried my best to trim the footage but it looks weird if the footage too short, and also two of the footage is quite long which I can't trim them. So my final video is about 35 secs.
