Digital Photography and Imaging - Week 3

 Week 3 - 6th September 2021

LECTURE

In this class, Mr. Fauzi gave us the introduction about some basic tools and layering in Adobe Photoshop. We were more focusing on Lasso Tool, Pen Tool and Layering. After this class we were able to do our first digital assignment - Digital Collage.

TUTORIAL

During the tutorial section, Mr. Fauzi show us a demo on how to use the tools to trace and how to combine all the elements in a good composition. Besides, we also watched some video references to earn more understanding.




PRACTICAL

This week, we were asked to use the elements that are provided by Mr. Fauzi to create three different composition. Of course, we should use and follow the rule of third to create a good composition. 

My favourite one is same as Mr. Fauzi, which is the first composition. I really like it is because the fish with the circle newspaper are perfectly matched. And the picture of the couple is like looking at the big fish in the air and the plant beside make the composition looks more harmony.
